After a member makes a post, a number of minutes later (sometimes only a minute or two later) another thought comes to mind and is posted by that same member. The "edit line" isn't indicated until after someone makes a post after you edit yours.
I would think instead of posting your message right under your own, check to see if someone has a message after your last post... and add what you want, and even correct typos and/or grammatical errors.
