Anyone know where I can find lightning data for a specific area on a specific date?

Not familure with too many free sites for this type of data...
http://www.strikestarus.com/ is pretty good for current data, maybe do some digging.

Never underestimate the Weather Underground for hidden data http://www.wunderground.com

http://www.weathermatrix.net/lightning/us/ also has allot of data...
