Tropical storm of stronger

is it physically possible to get a tropical storm or a hurricane hitting the uk? say if the water temps around the uk where high enough could it happen?

and is it possible at the moment?

thanks for posting that mate, the title was meant to be tropical storm or stronger and note, off.

that system fairly tracked.

it just goes past my current location.

where their any factors that led to faith lasting so long?
