If Ernesto makes landfall in the U.S tommorow, it would be the third year in a row a tropical system has hit the U.S on august 29th (Gaston 2004, Katrina 2005) Would that be a record?

I'm not sure if this would be a record, per se, but it appears to be the only occurrence of such an event.
