when do they recenter the floaters? i ask because florence is moving out of the floater.

Basically whenever they get around to it. For an Atlantic system, I would think that it would be sometime soon, though the updates are of low priorities - we had a similar discussion about this with the Ioke floater, though that was obviously a very low priority. Unfortunately there is no set standard or requirement for it, so it could change in the next 30 minutes or the next 30 hours, depending on how much spare time they find.
