I'm trying to find out where I can get a list of all of the Universities, Colleges and Schools that have Meteorology Degree's Associated with them.

I am considering going to Florida State University in the Spring mostly based on cost.. a little under 100.00 per credit hour (real good).

What are your serious thoughts on this school?

Are you aware of any other schools besides University of Miami?

Thanks for the input.

Here's another link -- that may or may not work for you (by which I mean it may work for me because of membership cookies, I just don't know). Give it a try, though. HPH

I believe FSU has a superb meteorology program (especially on tropical weather) and a variety of courses and options for studying tropical meteorology, as well as potential meteorologist opportunities and related possibilities. This might be a place to consider.

Most of the bigger name schools have met as a major.... best idea is to check out the AMS site... then check out the schools... you may like FSU, but Miami might be for you... that is the most important thing is to take a trip to the school BEFORE deciding.

The only University in Arizona that has a Met Program (actually Atmospheric Sciences) is the University of Arizona in Tucson but it's a graduate program only. ASU in Tempe offers a Climatology degree.
