Hurricane Proof??

I just saw an ad for a rental home and it states its hurricane proof. My question is could any home actually be hurricane proof (except for that weird concrete dome home)? By advertising it as such wouldn't they be liable if a person stayed and was injured. Just curious.

Nothing is "Hurricane Proof"...Even the Dome of a Home has its limits.

Actually, it's quite easy to build a "hurricane-proof" home. Build it in Denver.

I forgot about that  What was the Florida joke? Montana right? But in Denver, you can still be flooded out by the remanets...

If I remember right, so guy built a hurricane proof house in Miss. in the late 60's. It was wiped out by Camille.

The lighthouse in Biloxi has survived both Camille and Katrina. That huge upright guitar at the HardRock Cafe survived Katrina. But for me the number one spot on the survivor list are the live Oaks.......they took the wind and the water.

Thank you so much. I really needed to laugh right now. Maybe I can get a good night sleep.
