I vaguely remember that there was a Labor Day hurricane that brushed the NJ coast while I was there on vacation, I think it was the early 90's, if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it!

I'm not sure which storm it was... but...
Hurricane Emily brushed by New Jersey as a category three on September 1, 1993.
