I just thought about something while I'm waiting for the recon to find out if Ingrid has formed. That is the blast waves caused by nuclear bombs would act a lot like shear to displace the innercore of a cyclone. Meaning we could drop 5 or 6 of our biggest nuclear bombs inside of the next cat4-5 cane heading to the united states. This would destroy the core and the coast line would be safe. We would need to do this about a hundred miles off shore to make it worth it.

To note I'm talking about the shock wave that would come out from the nuclear blast. Remember what a little shear can do to these systems.

A little shear in the atmosphere expends a lot more energy than a few nukes. Also, who would be foolhardy enough to want the risk radioactive contamination of the rain.

Yeah - the radioactive fallout would probably kill more than the storm. Really really bad idea.

Would destroying a hurricane with the shock waves from nuclear missiles be worth rendering many nearby landmasses (or perhaps the entire northern hemisphere) uninhabitable from radioactive fallout?

It would take hundreds of nuclear weapons to achieve such an effect, which makes the concept itself ludicrous.

Yes,,,But what I'm saying is the innercore of a intense cane is small and easy to be changed. Unlike the overall cane. Maybe not a good idea,,,I just wented to ask this yesterday,. Really I asked it when I was not very serious.

I love when it rains plutonium. It is good fertilizer.
