Hi @ all,

I need some help...
Can someone tell me, where to find the wind power of different sites of the world? I mean, is there THE Graph or THE table or THE Homepage where I can find this information???Or have I already found it here???
Well, it´s about a Wind Power Project to be realized on the Philippines. And therefore I need to find information about the most favourable sites in terms of wind distribution on the Philippines for such a Wind power plant.

I´m really looking forard to get any help!!

Thanks a lot

KR
P.S.: Happy new Year!!!! :D

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to ask, but here are some locations of major wind farms around the world:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_farm

In the United States, I've personally seen some big ones in the Tehachapis near Mojave, CA, Altamont Pass (east of San Francisco), south of San Luis Reservoir, CA (southeast of San Jose), and I know of ones near Palm Springs, CA (San Gorgonio Pass) and Dodge City, KS.

EDIT: this may help as well:

As usual, Texas leads the nation, this time in wind power.

Check out the websites of some companies. GE Energy make some very large wind turbines. 150 Megawatt and up. Another company called Solar Turbine has an interest in wind power.
