Well, technically, the code used to call them takes bandwith . . . but that's beyond negligible 8-)

The real problem I end up having is do I have enough bandwith to fit through what I want, and the less I have to upload, the more bandwith I can use for downloading the S2k pages quicker and thus the server can deliver the data request quicker . . . I think :roll:

Either way, no pictures are still better than small pictures, and unless someone asks, I'll be keeping the reports thread text-only.

And max wind already a 53 . . .

Peaked out with about 5 straight minutes of >50kt readings in the NE quad, single max at 56kts, now into the center - hopefully they'll do a drop, though I doubt the pressure will have changed much, if at all.

Hmm, that supports only 45 knots at the surface. What was the highest FL wind recon found today so far?

Supposedly something in the 60s on the first flight, like 67 or so if you do a backwards conversion from the supposed 77mph gust reported on TWC.

it was a dropsonde that caused the winds to be increased and the dropsonde supports 50KT winds

this thing keeps shifting to the east, so is florida becoming the greatest threat now? Also, the further east it is the greater the chance of it being destroyed by cuba.
