Not really per the NHC - now that it is entering the loop current it could be Alberto at any moment.

TD1 vs. the shear. I think the warmer waters will give TD1 enough boost to become Alberto. I also think Florida should watch out for some tornadoes. If it hugs the coast then NC might have some tornadoes as well. :eek:

Anyway IMO chances of it becoming Alberto are high, but it still is quite disorganized.
