Emily is the only WNW-tracking, non-recurving, non-EL Nino year central Caribbean storm I can recall that failed to attain cat-5 in the NW Carr upon entering the vacinity at cat-4 status.

I guess she had a headache....

Emily will be reanalyzed at the end of the season without a doubt...Recon did find Category 5 winds between advisories. So Emily could be upgraded after the season. We'll have to wait and see.

Id say they nudge her down to 130....they seem to love weakening winds according to pressure rises.

CAMPECHE...INCLUDING COZUMEL AND THE ISLAS MUJERES. A HURRICANE
WARNING MEANS THAT HURRICANE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WITHIN THE
WARNING AREA WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS. PREPARATIONS TO PROTECT
LIFE AND PROPERTY SHOULD BE RUSHED TO COMPLETION.

A TROPICAL STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE COAST OF BELIZE FROM
BELIZE CITY NORTHWARD TO THE BELIZE-MEXICO BORDER. A TROPICAL STORM

Because 115 kt is 130 mph AND 135 mph, that's why I hate it. 130 mph is a Cat 3 and 135 mph is a Cat 4.
