I will always remember the satelite view of Isabel with the 5 pentagons around her eye wall. I hope we don't see another one like that with Frances!

She looks as if she's doing something funky there. Am I seeing things, or does the eye appear to be relocating a tad?

Hard to tell. It's not as well-defined as earlier(cloud-covered). Hurricane eyes don't "relocate". It's probably simply the movement.

I'm not sure what you guys are smoking, but her eye has been constantly filling in over the last hour. The last couple of frames show some very uneven (as in not symmetric or circular) convection now, so it will be a while before we see a circular eye again.

Stormfury, its's beginning to look like a back door storm for the Carolinas
( up I-85 ), with plenty of water.

"THE BAD NEWS FOR THE BAHAMAS AND
FLORIDA PENINSULA IS THAT THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT MID-LATITUDE
TROUGH IN THE CURRENT MODEL FORECASTS THROUGH 5 DAYS THAT COULD
SUBSTANTIALLY WEAKEN THIS RIDGE."

Bears repeating, AirForceMet.
