Calidoug, please post links to graphics, but not the graphics themselves, per the first message at the top of the main message board. Takes up too much bandwidth.

AlexiBlue, you are WRONG.

As has been subsequently pointed out, by me, and others, IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE to bandwidth or database usage.

Did you even read my post here?

Did you "view source" and note that the image is pulled from the NHC server?

You're absolutely right. But prayer can't hurt can it? I'm sure he'd listen to both sides of the story.

One of my concerns is the number of people flocking to the Pensacola area, based on this forecast. Let's face it, most people don't disect the discussions the way those of us here do.

I have many family and friends in the panhandle area and I am NOT planning to evacuate to that area at this point in time for exactly the reasons that we are discussing here. I could be going from the frying pan into the fire.

Okay. But if all of the models are leaning west, I wonder why the official forecast isn't being adjusted as well. Prudent? Or politically incorrect?

BTW Orrt... you are the MAN! you saw this 2 days ago...

At least that was their very explanation as to why the sharp turn to the right for Charlie ~~ that it was within the cone.

What if the track were more to the center of the state and they are afraid of starting a panic and a mass exodus????
