I know a few folks down there at TWC and really like them, but sometimes, if not a lot of the time, they can be so far off. Just the same they're a good bunch of folks and really do try to do a good job!
Anyway, I'm still keeping an eye out on that circulation out there. There is so much activity this year!

Mais, I still ain't scared me. I do not think it will make it this far west (although it would get me out of a sociaology test if it gave us a good scare) I am staying updated though because if I turn out to be wrong a trip to Sam's club is in order.

If this pulls a Yucatan Channel move (a la Camille) someone in the GOM is in for a nasty storm. :(

I think this system needs to be watched, just because there is always the chance that it'll form into something.

That rotating low has been there for a few days now. Earlier it was sucking the energy out of ivan before it neared Jamaica. There was a jet stream sweeping up the outbands of ivan and feeding that low. I believe the remains of Frances are also in that rotating low.

dead on

#4400 Postby bobbisboy » Sat Sep 11, 2004 2:15 pm

Dead on analysis Mike. I posted earlier that when IVAN DOES turn, he will turn with a more northerly component than is currently being reflected by these models. Next 12-24 hours ought to tell the story but if I lived on the peninsula of FL (and I don't) I wouldn't let my guard down just yet.
