Lilbump, do you have the feeling this might be just the one everyone has feared for the past couple of decades. Ivan seems to have his own agenda and doesn't care what the models say so to speak. Could it be his overall size and strength just keep pushing him through the weaknesses

Child i dont know what to say for this hurricane but the NHC doesnt have a clue what they are doing over there to me. I MEAN THEY INSIST AND I REPEAT INSIST ON STARTING IT OUT ON A NW TRACK AND ITS NOT DOING THAT. IF ANYTHING IT MIGHT AND MOST LIKELY WILL TRACK CLOSE TO THE YUCATAN BEFORE IT PROBABLY START A NW MOVEMENT.

Hee, hee hee. He bravely ran away, he bravely ran away. When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned around and fled, brave brave Sir Robin!

Or something like that.

Any OCM saying Ivan is no problem, even 2 days ago, deserves some time in the unemployment line.

If people would watch the "cone" and not the "line", there would be alot less stress.

Damn...now I can't get When the Levee Breaks by Zep out of my head. Where's my CDs.

Could it be that the NHC is so embarrassed by its inability to predict the stormtrack, that it is reluctant to move the cone as far west as it should? The NHC is normally so incredibly accurate, but this storm has thrown them for a loop.

Well, in the latest discussion, the NHC set a deadline. They said it will start moving NW in the next 12h.

Owen Brown returned home after the storm Sunday morning to find that looters had cleaned out the stuff he had stowed on an upper story of his home... according to the Cape Cod Times (page A8, Sunday 9/12/04)

Isn't he the guy that was broadcasting all night Saturday night?

Does anyone remember the announcer's name?

Cedar Key, FL. I've been thinking it for awhile so I might as well stick with it. Ivan prove me wrong. I wouldn't mind.
