I almost forgot that we have the Mediterranean area as part of our active storms forum so here is Storm Oriana that caused plenty of rain and disruptions in Spain.

Storm "Oriana" in the Mediterranean
As of February 14, 2026, the borrasca Oriana (Storm Oriana) is active in the Mediterranean.
Impact Areas: It is causing severe weather in eastern Spain, the Balearic Islands, and coastal areas like Castellón and Cataluña.
Conditions: The storm has brought hurricane-force winds reaching up to 140 km/h, heavy rains, and significant coastal waves.
Disruptions: It has forced the closure of the Mediterranean Corridor railway and caused over 500 emergency service calls in regions like Castellón
