They are putting cameras in our store thats not the problem theses are the cameras with listening or audio to record what you say.Is that legal?

yes it is. it's a private enterprise and they can pretty much do whatever they want....

Yes. It's totally legal. Usually this is to prevent/prosecute shoplifting. But, in this case it could be used to prevent other crime as well.

Correct... that "right" was available long before the Patriot Act was even invisioned.

Nothing new here... I've seen cameras in stores since long before 9/11 and the Patriot Act.

I have no problem with cameras we need them.But the listening audio is another thing I do not agree with.I just cannot talk for 8 hours.
