Now that we have seen 200,000 people die instantly from a tsunami, the starving people in Africa, the people in the south and New Orleans lose everything and now the crisis in Puerto Rico, do you find you are getting more compassionate for mankind?
I do. When I was younger, I did not pay that much attention. Now, it if affecting family and friends and even Storm 2kers. It is getting scary to think what lies ahead for others this year.
I have always been for the underdog and hate to see families lose jobs and homes. Regardless of government failures or nature.

I remember taking part in Hands Across America back in '86 and donating some towards relief efforts (most memorable - Andrew).
I think I'm still as compassionate, but a little bit more hateful towards terrorists. When I was younger, I didn't quite get what they were all about and never associated them with a particular region of the world or with religious extremists (as much as some people do now). I just always thought they were hijacking planes to get to another country. Never quite got the whole hatred for Americans thing back then, but I did by the 90's. And I was used to hearing the term "carbomb" used more for Ireland than the Middle East.
