Awwww, look at that cute face. Won't be long and she won't be a puppy anymore, enjoy it while it lasts. :D

We almost had a big scare with her last night. My mom was taking out the trash and she scooted right out the door before she could close it. She was running around and around in circles. And my mom could not catch her, she will not come when called. It took me awhile too until Chloe started to get out of breath. I slid on my knees and barely caught her by the legs so I could bring her in the house. She needs to learn to listen and come when called! I am glad we live in a quiet neighborhood and not too many cars pass by. It was scary! I thought for sure she was going to run off and we was never going to get her back!

Nope, I would never leave Chloe behind for a hurricane. For Katrina, when we evacuated, she was not even born. We had another yorkie Lacey who died on June 30th right before Katrina due to kidney failure from old age. Lacey was 7 months old when we rode out hurricane Andrew at home. She was really nervous as we had winds well over 100 mph here with the eyewall coming in only 25 miles to the west of here.

Aww she's cute!
I used to have a yorkie-pompek mix ...looks like Chloe except a slightly bigger version..and when she was young, she would also dart out the house whenever she had a chance..and we would have to go running after her..the more you chased her..the more she ran. It was for her like a game... she didn't know she was playing with her life.
Fortunately... she outgrew her running away habit.
Hopefully..Chloe will too.

Yeah, but to me she is my baby! Read the grieving pets section on how she came into our lives.
