The wait begins

#1 Postby OtherHD » Sat Jun 07, 2003 2:56 pm

I just got home from taking the SATs :x and now I have to wait 3 weeks to find out my scores. :( When I took the PSATs, I got a 204 (equivalent to a 1380 on the SATs) and I was aiming for 1400+ this time around--gotta get those scholarships. :D But I'm not sure if I'll beat that, cause of the verbal section. But who knows...maybe the math will save my butt like it always does...it's so much easier. So as of now, the wait for my results begins. At least I can rest somewhat easier, knowing I got the actual test out of the way.

I took the ACT's back when I was a junior in HS ...didn't have to take the SAT's. Don't feel bad about the verbal section...that kicked my butt also. You will do fine. You did your best which meant straining your brain.

I am sure you did great, HD! 8-) When I took the SAT's many years ago, I would have gotten 1400+ if it had been all math. But the verbal killed me. :(

I took the SAT once or twice (basically for no reason; not going to college) and got a rather low mark. If I took it twice, I did very slightly worse [about 10 points] than I did the first time.

Some people are very intelligent and do not score well on tests.
