Binghamton, NY aerial flood pictures

#1 Postby Scott_inVA » Thu Jul 13, 2006 8:57 pm

Old friend from when I worked in radio up in Bingo-town sent me some flood pix taken by air. Pretty impressive.

My wife's twin sister lives there and had 4.5 feet of water in her home. Inside of some of the homes make you think you're in the Ninth Ward. She went to FEMA and got paperwork, went to Red Cross and got money to buy shoes. One wonders how things will improve before the hurricanes get here.

BTW...always interested in photo submissions. Y'all take great pix, I am a terrible photographer.

Here ya go...I was at camp a couple weeks ago when that low tried to spin-up into a TS, but brought flooding to NC, VA, and the NE, I managed to get some photos of the creek by the camp, some normal day and some flooding, its below the mountain views...its not all that terribly impressive...but still some pics, also, read the descirptions between the pics to see what you are looking at...: http://www.trackahurricane.com/blog/sta ... 705-214125
