Agreed. And why all the praise for Katie? She's just as weird as he is.
Oh you have met her personally?
She thinks a spaceship is coming to get her.
Funny thing about faith -- usually it's what you believe, not what you think.
Keep someone away from her family and friends for 16 days and you might be able to make someone believe the same thing yourself. Not saying Tom himself brainwashed her. But some consider Scientology to be a cult and many cults engage in brainwashing to get converts to believe as they do.
That doesn't make her weird. It makes her a victim.

Others believe Scientology to be a faith and a philosophy. Heck there are folks who think LDS is a cult. Neverthless, I'm thrilled to see someone with the funds to have such a beautiful wedding and that they're so happy. People Magazine is mainly about celebrities. If someone can think of other hollywood types who have a better story for the cover, suggest it. What better for a cover story than a happy wedding!
What a beautiful bride!!!

Who are we to judge someones' beliefs? They choose to believe in that but that does not make them bad people.
I agree alice 100% She does make a beautiful bride. One thing though, I bet that she is a great Mom and Tom a great Dad. He seems to be the happiest I have seen him in a long, long time. Not one dang thing wrong with that!

I don't really care what anyone believes. My point was that people (just the public in general) seem to think he's a huge nut because he believes in scientology, but she doesn't get the same criticism.
Sort of odd.
Although if you actually read information about scientology, it is in no way comparable to any of the major religions. In fact, some of what it teaches is downright dangerous.
