Chicago Tribune: UFO sighted over O'Hare 11/7/06

#1 Postby SamSagnella » Mon Jan 01, 2007 4:16 pm

This Chicago Tribune article details an alleged UFO sighting over Chicago O'Hare's Terminal C on November 7, 2006. I find it particularly interesting because multiple sources that I would deem trustworthy (airline pilots) are cited as witnesses to the object, which "hovered low over O'Hare International Airport for several minutes before bolting through thick clouds with such intense energy that it left an eerie hole in overcast skies."

There's a video with the article but I can't seem to get it to work.
Chicago Tribune: "In the sky! A bird? A plane? A ... UFO?"

Thoughts?

This line made me laugh:

At least one O'Hare controller, union official Craig Burzych, was amused by it all.

"To fly 7 million light years to O'Hare and then have to turn around and go home because your gate was occupied is simply unacceptable," he said.

Since I've had some wacky adventures at O'Hare myself, there's only one way I can respond to this:
