Didn't some California City almost ban the dreadful dihydrogen monoxide? It is a horrible compound. Humans are so addicted to it that if you go three days without it you will die. It is also used in nuclear power plants.

Yep, dihydrogen monoxide kills hundreds a day, if not more. Mainly due to inhalation.

Oh, man I'm gonna have fun this year. Judging by HURAKAN's Dec 28th prank, you guys will be too easy.

Wait... I didn't say that. I hate April Fool's day and I will not participate this year.

Everyone is alert to jokes on April 1 though. No one knew to watch out for them on December 28.

It would be great if the NHC put out a fake STDS though.

Lol, yeah.

A TROPICAL DISTURBANCE HAS SURPRISINGLY FORMED OVER THE EQUATOR AT 0.5 DEGREES N LATITUDE. IT IS BEING STRONGLY MONITERED FOR DEVELOPMENT AS A TROPICAL DEPRESSION OR STORM MAY FORM AT ANY TIME. STEERING CURRENTS MAY EVENTUALLY PUSH THE CYCLONE SOUTH OF THE EQUATOR IN A METEOROLOGICAL FIRST.

Or better yet, say that a storm is expected to form near 117N 254W and will strike <insert fake country>

Exactly! Who cares if people take jokes the wrong way? That's their problem. XD

In a partially related note, I was fooled by Nintendo a few years ago. They claimed to be designing a new game, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Future or something. It was in the future of Hyrule, high technology, and Epona was a motorcycle. Rediculous, but I bought it. They used concept images from Star Wars and other games like Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank etc.

Brilliant April Fool's day joke in my opinion.

My friend Robby fell for an internet April Fool's Day prank advertising the plans to release a Lego Halo game. XD

I'd sure hope so, without it there'd be no water.
