Another One of Our Members Needs Our Prayers

sunny shine was burglarized in early June and her computer was one of the things stolen. I don't know many details but she said she is still recovering from it. Let's all remember her in our prayers.

She also said she will be back as soon as possible and sends (((HUGS)))

She's definitely got my prayers! I know the angry and
helpless feeling from coming home and finding your
house ransacked, and, seeing the bare corners where
your stuff that you worked hard for USED to sit...
Hope to see her back, very soon!

I'm so sorry to hear about the burglary, but thankful she is okay. I'll keep sunny shine in my prayers, and pray that the authorities capture those responsible and recover her belongings.

"You are sorely missed here at Storm2K, and I understand the feeling of 'violation' and loss...but remember, it's only property, and can be replaced...YOU, on the other hand, were definitely being watched over!

The way I have my apartment set up, all the 'negotaible property' is downstairs, and if we have a break-in, they're welcome to it. However, once they attempt to climb the stairs, that's another story..and all they will get is a 'streetsoldier' standing between them and my family...and they shall not pass!" :grrr:

Breakins are an attack on our "space." They make us feel violated no matter when, how, or by who.

A missing computer is not nearly so bad as a breakin while you are at home....things could be much worse then. Still, our thoughts are with a quick recovery and justice for those responsible.

One of my brothers and his wife were robbed last year. As some of you may know, they have since moved from Wheeling, WV to Melbourne, FL... (in December 2002).

Their computer was among the stolen items. [They got another computer quite quickly... I had access to it to post here when I was there in March).

I am glad sunny shine was not hurt, but it is a shame that she was burglarized. She is in my thoughts and prayers.
