Owner of Kentucky Castle dies

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Thu Aug 07, 2003 12:55 pm

Not sure how many of you have traveled to the Bluegrass State and seen the "castle" that was built way out on a hill in central Kentucky, just west of Lexington. There were alot of rumors and urban legends surrounding the origin of it and why is wasn't finished.

Well, I just happened to log in and check the KY news...which I do once in a blue moon and saw this article. http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky/news/6467796.htm

Thought I'd pass it along. My best friend here in TX has a pic of it from her high school days where she went on a trip to KY. I used to live in Lexington so I recognized it. I saw the pic when I was looking at her album and I was like, "No way! You know "The Castle" too?" I'm gonna have to share this with her also.
