Did someone say an 8 Track?!!!

I sold my old 1980 Honda Civic when it was 13 years old. It had only 90,000 miles on it. Didn't have A/C since when I bought it and paid only $5000 for it brand-new, A/C would have cost $500 more. At that time, that was a lot of money! So here was this old Civic, w/o AC, and an old outdated 8 Track player in the stereo. I was dying to get rid of it!!! We placed an ad in the paper for $500 and had at least 100 calls that weekend. Jim realized later we have sold it for twice that much, easily. We had so many calls, we taped a new answering machine message - Civic is sold! When the buyer realized it had an 8 Track player she said - that's so cool!!!! We threw in some tapes too.....LOL Sometimes I do miss that Civic....it ran better than my newer Civic.

Speaking of "one-hit wonders", does anyone recall these songs and/or the artists?

"Pilot of the Airwaves"
"(I've) Never Been to Me"

I've been running searches all day (since this topic came up), and I can't find them...
