blizzard, I'm telling you the gospel truth....there are two elderly members of my own family I refuse to visit after dark -- UNLESS I first call and make sure they know I'm coming. I don't want to be mistaken for a burglar and shot :o (and the great aunt who shot the dog thru her door died four years ago....she was another relative I didn't visit at night without calling first).

there is this kid in my neighborhood, well at least once a month he rings the doorbell and then runs. sometimes it scares me, because i am not expecting it. i go outside and scream punk. i am sure he does it just to hear me scream. its a joke now, we never know when to expect it, but he will ring again.

I'm not going to tell you what to do...but if your local law enforcement agency can't stop a smartass kid like that, I'd
get a good marine air horn, hide in the bushes, and scare the living heck out of him...do it while wearing a "Jason" type hockey mask for a real horror effect
I would recommend pepper spray, but if he has asthma, it could be lethal if sprayed in his face.
