Although very tragic, it is fortunate that it was still under construction, otherwise there would have been possibly many more casualties.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the workers and their families. Hang in there Steph.

I stayed at my friend's house last night.

They just pulled out the last construction worker that was trapped. Unfortunately, he was dead. The total dead from this accident is 4 with over 20 injured, several are critical. :(

It's very quiet out there this morning. I'm so used to hearing and seeing the hustle and bustle ( and whistles and catcalls at the cute girls   ) of the workers on the site. They don't have as many blocks roped off now. The Hilton is allowing our employees to use their lot and their one bus terminal for the Employee Shuttle Bus. The Red Cross set up tables outside of our building to supply food, water, etc. We're all shell shocked and upset at what had happened.

I am so sad to hear that 4 people were killed in this incident. I pray for the families and friends of those that lost their lives. I also pray for the injured, that they will recover quickly.

It must have been a very stressful day for you, Stephanie. I hope that today and all future days do not involve any situations like this.

Thanks John. I feel so badly for those families and we're all praying for them as well.

I found out alittle while ago that my car will be stuck in the garage over the weekend. The whole West tower has been closed and evacuated. It contains our Transportation Center, 500 hotel rooms, parking garage, some offices. Everyone that has parking privileges in the garage are in the same predicament. I feel bad that I'm worrying about my car and how the heck I'm getting home and back to work on Monday considering everything else. There was one girl that works for our bus marketing department that has been temporarily closed that knew one of the men killed. He was her daughter's soccer coach. :(
