Who killed Jon Benet?
I know this happened years ago, but I wasn't here to ask your opinions at the time. This murder will bother me until the killer is found. I have a very definite opinion, but I would appreciate yours. Thanks...

Based on what I had heard about the case, my suspicions used to fall on the mother. The most convincing theory IMO, was the bedwetting-punishment theory -- Patsy got mad at JB after JB wet the bed, she took her into the bathroom to get cleaned up, started beating her out of anger, and JB fell against the sink and sustained a fatal head injury. Then she attempted to cover it up with the kidnapping set-up by tying a garrote around her hands and neck and duct-taping her. The similarities of Patsy's handwriting to the writing of the kidnapping note only made my suspicions stronger. JB's face was covered (typical for killers who knew their victims). The murder had to have happened inside the house (what intruder would take time to kill and pose a victim and then write a note?). There were no footsteps in the snow near the basement window, although there was a scuff mark on the window sill.
However, the fact that a pubic hair that did not belong to John, Patsy, or Burke (and obviously not JB, she was too young) was found on the blanket in which JB was wrapped offers reasonable doubt. Also, there was an unknown palm print on the wine cellar door, a footprint from a hiking boot that did not belong to any of the people who entered the Ramsey's house, and the rope and duct tape were not found anywhere in the house.
I'm stumped.
