FOX News Documentary tonite on terrorist's

#1 Postby BEER980 » Sun Feb 22, 2004 4:56 pm

FOX News Documentary on immigration called,

"The Terrorists Next Door"

Sunday, February 22, 2004 at 7 PM MST/9 PM ET, and again at 10 PM MST/12 AM ET.

Reaching the Breaking Point

By Linda Vester,

"I've been working with Fox's documentary unit on the risk of terrorists sneaking across our southern borders -- and the information we've found is downright disturbing.

I have to say, I was blown away by the things that I found out in the course of doing this special. The more I researched, the more I started getting anonymous tips from the intelligence community about the state of our borders.

One tip in particular gave me specific locations on our northern border where I (or Joe the Terrorist) could cross freely into the USA without a soul noticing. There's just no physical way you can man the entire border; but what about other forms of surveillance?

And no offense to Canada, but there's a real problem. Their spirit of welcoming the world's dispossessed is admirable, but you may find their asylum system is SHOCKING. I'll explain why when you watch "Breaking Point" this weekend: You will see specific instances where KNOWN TERRORISTS, wanted for the murders of innocent people, have easily stayed in Canada (some are there AT THIS VERY MOMENT).

As for Mexico, a well-placed source says they're doing better on the border; but, that's in dispute. Their government reportedly is pressuring the "coyotes" to stop sneaking "SIA's" (Special Interest Aliens) into the U.S.

But I'm told the method they're using to pressure the coyotes is not necessarily stopping the smuggling of questionable people. Instead, I'm told it's just raising the PRICE that questionable people are paying the smugglers to cross over into the U.S.

Some of the things you learn in "Breaking Point" may make you mad, but it's information you should have."

This documentary will feature Rep. Tom Tancredo from Colorado:

"We Are Talking About the Survival of the Republic." Rep. Tom Tancredo speaks out about desperately needed border reforms and how citizens can help make them happen.

You think by now our borders would be tighter than they are, Linda Vester is certainly saying it like it is in her investigation with the Fox news documentary unit...

This program proves that Linda Vester isn't "just off" when she isn't on her daily program "Dayside."

Mike Jerrick (and Steve Doocey, too) should say that she is on assignment, instead of "Linda has today off."

At least this gets the 'filler show' "Sunday Best" off this week.
:)

I agree our borders should be more tightly secured and think this should be a priority before a lot of other issues

I like Jane Skinner, too, but she could probably do harder hitting journalism. :D This special should be interesting.

Darn, missed it as I was watching a similar program on Discovery. Hope they re-run (as they do the good shows occasionally).

"Breaking Point: The Terrorists Next Door" was on again from Midnight to 1:00 am Eastern.

Maybe it will be on next Sunday at 9:00 pm and Midnight Eastern, although TVGuide.com has "Sunday Best" back next week.

FINALLY !!!

Someone in the media telling it like it is. Our Southern Border is a total sieve. It's estimated that about 2 million illegals sneak across the southern border a year through AZ ALONE! and that only 20% are caught. The Border Patrol itself estimates that 7% of the total or 140000 are of questionable character and repute (or worse). That means that out of the the 8-10 million illegals now in this Country, 700000 or more are not the kind of people we want here and Bush wants to give them all amnesty? That's why many Republicans (myself included) will not vote for Bush or our Congressjerk Jim Kolbe in November. Cochise County BTW is the main corridor for illegals crossing into the Country period.

The Leader

of the American Border Patrol (no relation to the US Border Patrol) recently held a rally in Tucson where they brought signed petitions to the
Federal Building that called for the assignment of Military Forces along our Southern Border. Even the druggies might reconsider going up against a M1A1 or an AH-64.
