Worst day so far

#1 Postby Derek Ortt » Sat Mar 22, 2003 1:19 pm

at least 11 dead Americans and British so far and we are having problems taking Basra. This does not seem to be a quick and easy victory any more and we need now to be prepared for the long term

7 in a copter crash and 4 from a grenade attack. Plus, the iraqis have not been surrendering in Basra, which will probably mean urban warfare in the near future. The casualties have been reported all day in the news, which I heard about the non surrender in Basra on NBC

All in all we are doing an excellent job in the War with Iraq. As far as I've heard less than half haven't been killed in combat.

It is now time to drop the "Mother of all Bombs."

Prayers to the troops in combat.

Actually there were two that were killed in the grenade attack. One soldier from Mississippi and the other from Los Angeles, CA. :x

That report was wrong sunny shine...thank God!

Four U.S. soldiers with the 3rd Infantry Division were wounded in central Iraq when two Humvees were hit by rocket-propelled grenades, the Pentagon said. Earlier, there was an erroneous report that the four were killed.

thats what i tried to say...saying that we could flatten'em in two seconds was pretty naive. War brings many surprises.
