...Make that THREE Missles, apparently US!They were 'errant'...however,how in hell do 'errant' US Missiles just happen to land on and destroy targets???Errant my azz.
The destabilization continues along the Jordanian Border, with Violent Mass Anti-US demonstrations, with more planned today.Syria appears to be mobilizing troops along the Iraqi Border..and although Turkey denies 1500 troops crossing into Kurd held N Iraq,we may be seeing an Arab cooalition building, that Saddam had planned well before our attack.
This is serious,as Russia supports the Iranian Political line, not to mention the Iranian Air Force.THIS time we can't say..OOPs,so sorry and write a fat check..frankly,Iran is rolling in Money.
This is a potential debacle with our troops 150mi inside of Iraq and a strong resistance being fought at Basrah as I write.
That along with Bagdad oil trenches filled with oil surrounding the city now ablaze. My aaumption is that the Iraqi staffers are hoping for a Smoke Screen before the next B-52/Tomahawk onsluaght after sundown.
We must be careful at this juncture,as our Carriers could be vulnerable to an Iranian return 'errant' volley on our Fleet, slowing our Naval Fighters.
Looks like 'Plan C'..whatever that is.

This has been an ongoing problem with the war thus far.It seems the Gov has a good deal of leverage as to what is reported and what is not.To thier credit,I saw it on both FoxNews and MSNBC on the crawler. However,as has been the case over the past few days, information not sheeding a positive light on our efforts(which I support) have a curious way of 'disappearing'.I confirmed it with 3 other people via phone converstions,as they were alarmed as well..so the fact remains that indeed the reports were there early this AM as far as I can tell.

Well by this time you probably already know that CNN has been kicked out of Baghdad by Iraqi officials. They wanted them to leave during their evening but the media wrangled a 'stay' at least overnight, then they had to get out. Apparently the Iraq government said CNN is not broadcasting both sides of the story sufficiently enough for them (especially with all the stories on massive surrenders, etc. as now one Division of Iraq's army including a senior officer surrendered himself and his entire division of 5-10,000 troops...). So CNN had to leave. Now this action of the Iraqi govrnment may continue if the other news networks follow in the same vein - not sure how FOXnews is faring with their gov. So if you don't like what the media is saying - kick 'em out - that'll show everyone. Yah.
Here's one of the links that touch on the errant missile. Remember that any electromagnetic interference like massive solar flares, sunspots, etc. may also interfere with the target detection or control & guidance systems, so there will normally be the calculated 'ooops' factor in any launch. With the numbers of missiles launching into the theater currently, a stray or two is expected....that one hit some other 'target' is interesting...
A good day was had by all...unless one was on the wrong side.

The Geomagnetic Field
has been somewhat disturbed (Gemag disturbances can cause GPS positioning problems). However, based upon our experience when we supported the GPS testing at FHU the field does not seem disturbed enough to have any significant effects upon GPS. In fact, the field was even more disturbed the night before when Baghdad was hit. When assessing geomagnetic effects upon any system, the Geomagnetic Latitude of the location is what must be taken into account. In Iraq, the Gemag latitude will be lower than the geodetic latitude since the North Magnetic Pole is displaced towards North America. Consequently it appears that a targetting error occurred.
