Devices Found In Three Homes Under Construction

LINCOLN, Calif. -- The FBI is investigating a possible case of eco-terrorism in Placer County. A suspicious device was found Monday in a home under construction in a new development in Lincoln. Bomb investigators were called out and found devices in two other homes.

Authorities said the devices were designed to start fires by using timing mechanisms.One home buyer in the development said that if the aim was to stop construction in the area, it's a little too late."Once the houses have been framed and the process has approved, this subdivision, it seems a little late in the game to be voicing those kinds of concerns," home buyer John Latini said. Threatening messages saying "you will pay" and "quit destroying their homes" were found spray-painted on another home under construction.
