Can You Tell I'm Bored Senseless?

#1 Postby JenBayles » Sat Jan 01, 2005 3:20 pm

Looks pretty slow on the board today, so I'll do my part to keep it going - mundane though the subject may be.

I managed to get Dave out of the house to have some fun - he's taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather to take the Harley for a spin. Hope he has a great day since it's supposed to be rainy and nasty tomorrow. Little does he know I have the honey-do list ready and waiting.
:slime:

So - I'm hanging at the house and have The Towering Inferno on the tube. Egads! How low have I fallen! Those old 70's disaster flicks just crack me up - The Poseidon Adventure, all the Airport movies, Earthquake. Anybody else find themselves drawn to these things?

Isn't it just a scream?! I was raised on these movies so I guess I'm taking a little walk down memory lane.

That reminds me - I wonder what the statistical average age is on this board? Didn't someone figure that out not long ago or am I just tripping? I'm the big 4-1 here.

Never have watched "Monk" either...I have seen the ads for that show though and the guy's face looks slightly like Brad Garrett (who plays Ray's brother Robert).

I've been watching Roseanne all day on Oxygen(except for 12-1pm and 3-4pm) when it wasn't on. Bored, bored, bored.

 I hear ya! Tell Nanners that Maggie the Puppy Pie sends greetings. Our neighbor's son who is recently out of Marine boot camp is finishing off the last of the firecrackers from last night (this morning?). My poor wittle Schweetums Pie is scared witless!

Hmmmmm...... I have a pretty deep voice for a chick... I wonder if I could impersonate a drill sergeant? "RECRUIT TURNER!!!!!!!!!!!!! CEASE FIRE IMMEDIATELY!!!!!"
