However...out of no where came the name Frazier Thomas!

And how about early weather guys....John Coleman and Harry Volkman were my two favorites....and of course Tom Skilling is no youngster any more, but he is still a person I list among my friends.

Great recall! Frazier Thomas (resplendent in his official uniform) was the "straight man" for Garfield Goose. Do you remember the cartoon series "Clutch Cargo" with the weirdly moving lips on the characters that the Garfield Goose show featured?

Do you remember Wxman P.J. Hoff, with his drawings? I , too, remember Wxman John Coleman --who had a real "joker" persona-- and Harry Volkman, the "intelligent" one. Yes, I still feel a touch of sweet home Chicago whenever I catch WGN's very personable and informational (and noticeably middle-aged, as I have become...) Tom Skilling on satellite or cable.
