Just Checkin' In

#1 Postby JenBayles » Fri Jun 10, 2005 7:37 am

Hi everyone. I haven't been able to post much lately due to a much needed change in positions within my company. I am so much happier (and busier) in the new department!

On the personal front, Dave & I are officially getting remarried next month. We were divorced in 1998 and reconciled in 1999 and well.... here we go again.

He had a ring made a gave it to me last Friday on what would have been our 16th anniversary. We figured out a long time ago that we're both too weird for anyone else to put up with so we're stuck with each other.
:cheesy:

Anyhoo - I'll try to get my participation back up to where it used to be - just need to be a little faster about it so the internet police don't bust me.

Jen - I never knew this about you! I highly commend you and Dave for knowing you were meant for eachother.

Very happy for you, congrats.

And of course, still congrats on the job switch. I know you NEEDED it!

Thanks Mary! I tell you what - getting away from that crazy zealot old boss of mine was the best move I ever made. I knew I was losing my mind since he got on my very last nerve, but had no idea how bad it was until I got away from it. I used to get home from work and have to bite my tongue in half to not bring the BS home with me. Now, I don't even think about it. Who needs prozac anyway?!

How cool is that? A happy ending is just the greatest thing. Excellent news all the way around!
