And I have Eric/Skywatch_NC to thank for referring me to Storm2K! At the time I was comtemplating leaving TWC boards for good and didn't know where to go next. He thought I'd be happy here and so gave me the link. I'm so grateful he did! Thanks to the Admin for a superb atmosphere here on all the Forums! It truly feels like home to me now. This is my first stop when I log on, before checking my email sometimes! That's saying quite a lot.

You're quite welcome, Mary! Yes, Chad was my life-saver from potential wx boards site withdrawal after my stay at TWC was over...and coming to Storm2K was the BEST thing I ever DID!!! Thank you too so many warm and friendly Wxbuddies who made me feel truly welcome and this place has really become a "Second Family!"

Ever really think about it? It is not a place at all, but instead a state of mind with a warm-hearted and helpful attitude.

Feels good to us "older" members too.

Heck, other than my job where those 20 to 30-somethings talk to me because I'm their boss, where else would a balding geezer be able to get together with such a wide range of people and personalities and actually strike up a conversation!

I'm glad I made the transition over here also,
thanks to Miss Mary for the invitation. I have a good
friend who is one of the female on-air Mets at TWC
so although I still visit their site I enjoy the the
time I spend with my wx friends & family here also.

Interesting, CSUN. I am glad you check in here and post. I occasionally check out TWCMBs, but haven't had much to say with the former core members being here at Storm2K.

THIS IS THE BEST BOARD ON THE NET!!! I am PRIVILEGED to be a moderator here!!! This type of site has been a DREAM of mine(and Ticka's)for a few years, for all the reasons stated above. Now I feel I have a PERMANENT HOME on the net!! Just you wait!!! It is only gonna get better!!!

I have always enjoyed messageboard to interact with people. I am honored to be able to correspond with such a great group of individual, understanding as best they can about myself and other fellow members.

It may not be all that good with those that are more social than others; but for those of us who aren't as outgoing with people this is a great way to get to that next step at whenever possible.

Exactly, David... I am extremely glad to be a member of Storm2K, I am here often, scanning, reading and replying to messages. Most of my online time is spent here interacting with you all.
