I caused a bit of the trouble too with some of my "I'm leaving" posts. I am going to stop making those from now on, and if I feel like that I will talk with someone who I trust about how I feel and why I feel the way that I do.

Now on to the matter at hand.

S2K is here for a reason. It was created as a refugee board. Its intention was never to serve as a board where flame wars are served from. This is Christmas Eve for Pete's sake. If you absolutely MUST spam or flame this board, I encourage you to think twice (or even three times) before you even get near the submit button. Because once you do, you will regret it. I know I have with some of the ruckus that I have caused, but that's in the past now.

You should think "Would this post cause anyone's feelings to be/get hurt" and "Would this post cause me to get in trouble?" Also think "Would this post cause people to dislike me?" If all of those (or even one) is a YES answer, then you should not post the post / poll / thread. JMHO.

Don't be rude towards Miss Mary. She is one of the sweetest people on this board or any board for that matter -- and the fact that you accuse her of being something she isn't makes me mad. This is the holiday season. Whether you CELEBRATE it or not is not my concern, but you need to respect everyone else's feelings, too.

If you love this board so much then why are you posting insulting comments?? Attacking the integrity of a few of our mods -- very disrespectful!

No one is asking you to be Christian but when you make big statements like the ones you have made in the past you bring the conflict on yourself.

And Woodstock -- the posts you have made at this board are very hard to ignore when wondering if you like this board or not.

How was I rude to Ms Mary?
She was rude to me and offended me, and accused me of something that I did not do.
She may be sweet to some but she isn't being so sweet to me.

I do not love this board so much, I LIKE it and I ENJOY it but it bothers me that some of you people are so quick to judge and accuse and stereotype me for no reason.

And Woodstock - you sure picked a down time to post this poll. Many frequent-posting members are out of town, hence away from their computers. Or maybe that was your intention?I know future polls like this will be deleted but I'd like to see you try this when there is nothing going on but wx and the holidays are over. You'd be blown away by the positive responses I predict. And probably shown the door by dozens of members. I for one.

Okay, what is this nonsense with trying to make me look like a mean, bad, storm2k hater?
I've already said I like this board, I just do not like the attacks placed upon me, but I settled it with a mod last night and got some posts deleted and things cleared up.
It was posted because SOMEONE FROM THIS BOARD TOLD me to post a poll so I did.
I didn't even want to because I knew it would be 90-99% in favor of storm2ks atmosphere.
It's obvious there are and would be many positive respsonsises, and if you are trying to get me to leave, I am not leaving because I enjoy posting at this board, I just wish people would not make assumptions that I hate this board because I don't.
But if I can't voice my opinion, I will leave, but I've been proven that I can voice my opinion, but keep within appropriate boundaries.

I was not rude to her at all, and if anything she was rude to me and almost made me cry when I read this from such a sweet poster like herself.

I am NOT here to stir up trouble, I came here 3 months ago for an alt board and I enjoy posting here.

When someone went after me and said everyone whos a member here likes the board atmosphere I did not agree, so I did a poll asking s2k members at WWBB if they liked it, becuase I did not want to post it here to cause trouble but then some s2k members requested that I do so.

I agree Lindaloo. Like I said if anyone..doesn't like it here then they are welcome to leave. If you do like it here why start such a poll The obvious sometimes is really "obvious"

I like it here and it is not obvious that I am only here to stir up trouble, and I have not been rude until some people blew me over the top by really really getting on my nerves.

May I make a suggestion Woodstock? Take a 24 hour breather from here. Not because you're right or wrong, but because it's just stirring up bad feelings for everybody, including you. Besides, this is Christmas Eve, and I know your beliefs in this matter, but it's a time to try to feel good about people and spend time with your family. Maybe by tomorrow night, you'll be a little calmer, as will everyone else, and this will all blow over, so to speak. No need to let this fester any further, IMO.

Well I certainly don't want to make anyone cry. Woodstock - it seems you've started off on the wrong foot here. And I see you've made an apologetic post/topic and that's a step in the right direction, IMHO. When I said I'd be one to show you the door, well that was a bit harsh. So forgive me. I'm usually not like that. And I do have 2 teen daughters. How well I know what they say isn't what they always mean. They blurt things out - a lot. So that said, take a deep breath, try your best to be kind to us. Respect our beliefs, we'll respect yours. It's as simple as that.

I made all of these replies before I made the formal apology.

I realized I was just continuing the pointless bickering/arguing so I gave it a rest and apologized.

We just need to start anew and try to focus on friends, family and happiness over this holiday/christmas break for many.
