So You Think You Can Dance is getting better and better. Its cultural diversity, talent, personalities, and technicallity are outstanding. This show with 12 people has the same quality of dance as does Dancing with the Stars in the Semi-Finals, and I have a feeling SYTYCD can easily well outperform and excite by the time we are to the final 6 or final 4.

I LOVE this show! Chelsea/Mark, Courtney/Gev and KATIE/JOSHUA! Will and Twitch are great too and I'd love to see what they could do with other partners.
Personally, I think that the top two are Katie and Chelsea, but Will and Twitch are very strong too.

Not to mention that British version of Hell's Kitchen that started airing on CityTV Canada is just terrible, very boring and lame. There is no music and the camera angles don't change much at all. Nothing really to that series.

I haven't watched either show in weeks. I'm barely watching Wipeout and Big Brother on Tuesday right now, and both of those may be dropped soon.
SO ready for the Olympics and then the fall season. TV right now is zzzzzzzzzzz.

Re: What are you watching this summer?
My take on tonights TV....
I watched Americas Got Talent tonight and I couldnt believe that they were still in auditions. Well the only audition that stuck out to me was the last audition, the Armed Forces Specialist.
I also watched the new So You Think You Can Dance. I really think that So You Think You Can Dance is at this point much better than DWTS. So You Think You Can Dance has more passion, a wider variety of dance, is more culturally diverse, has more heart, better contestants, and great judges that keep changing. A few of the contestants even have very little experience like DWTS. Out of 6 contestants, 5 can win right now. Courtney and Mark/Katee and Joshua are two power couples that should be moving through. Twitch is amazing, but one male and one female have to go, he may be in danger. Chelsea is the only one that I really dont think can win...she doesnt have the wow factor like the other 5 do.

Facebook has this new app that you answer trivia/take polls/make predictions about each show. I played for both BB and So You Think You Can Dance. I made 6th/48 people for BB (stupid predictions knocked my score down just about every time) and 6th/25 people for So You Think You can Dance. I had a great time!
Reviews:
BB: WHY ANGIE!!!! d'OH!! I love how BB played off the HOH comp with the earthquake lol.
SYTYCD: Im happy with the results. What the Heck was the singer. One of the questions in the game was what is wrong with her....her shoes, her dress, her voice, her dancing, everything...I voted everything and was right along with everyone else. Who sings with a snorkel!

Re: What are you watching this summer?
I have to post what my family and I are watching this summer.
We've rented the entire one and only season of Freaks and Geeks, on DVD, from Blockbuster.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0193676/
We love this show! We've been hearing how good this show was and should have been renewed but it was jacked around by the network, bounced from slot to slot, taken off the air for months at a time. Brought back, had terrible ratings. You will recognize many well known stars from the show. Ben Stiller even guested in one episode.
It now has a cult-like following, living on in reruns and DVD rentals.
So if you and your family are bored this summer with nothing to watch, rent this show. You will not regret it! It's one of the most accurate and very funny sitcoms about teen angst, high school, etc. We especially like the parents - they're hysterical, in a similar way the parents on That 70s Show were to fans.
Anyway, this is my suggestion, until new shows return this Fall.

for those who watch really badly made weather flicks, I bring this gem to your attention on the Sci-Fi Channel:

Also of note in October: "Destination Truth" will wrap the back half of its second season on Wednesday, October 15 at 10:00/9:00c; and the previously delayed original movie "NYC: Tornado Terror" will roll out on Saturday, October 4 at 9:00/8:00c.

I've been around dance for 18 years. The 2 guys can't do much more than hiphop. The girls aren't the best they've had either. The choreography is pretty bad this year. The judges criticize the dancers who are doing the best they can with the choreography that's been given to them. Will was one of the best dancers on there. He had good technique and knowledge of dance. He should still be up there.
