Howdy!

Sorry to hear about your situation Bill, you'll be added to the ever growing prayer list!

Didn't make it to His house today, the foot is KILLING me big time, don't know why, I'm going to sawbones in the a.m., I can't stand the pain, I'm fixing to o.d. myself on pain meds and try to get some rest, I too was up all night with it, damn thing, almost wished I hadn't had the surgery, I couldn't live with it like it was now I can't live with it like it IS! Ah well, this too shall pass I guess!

What a gloomy, grey day here, off and on snow, rain, freezing rain, winds in excess of 30 sustained with gusts to well over 48 MPH, my wind speed indicator in the house is going NUTZ to say the least. The weather is suppose to stay like this till Sat or Sunday, we NEED the moisture BAD, it's just a shock to the system after 10 days of temps in the upper 60's, a few 70's, like I said, I'm NOT complaining one bit about the moisture, we dang sure need it, every single drop!

The BEST steak I've ever had and it takes a LOT to satisfy this retired meat cutter, are the Omaha Steaks from the Omaha Steak Company, Karan (aka Pburgh) sent us 6 filets not too long ago, those are, by far, the BEST steaks PERIOD, they should be, we got a price list and order guide along with Karans gift, they run about 15$ PER STEAK! BUT MAN....talk about delicious and TENDER, I wrapped these in apple wood smoked bacon and did some U2 shrimp on the Barbe (U2 shrimp are 6-7 per POUND)

Dennis, my folks and I used to order filet mignon, etc. from Omaha and one time even some cheesecake! :D :) But our budget made that come to a stop unfortunately. We used to order from Schwan's, also, but stopped for the same reason...bummer.
