Today, mirabile dictu, there WAS a chicken pot pie for me...but I could only get 1/2 of it "down", then got sick over it.

Add that, while cleaning/polishing my collection of knives this morning, one "got away" from me and left a nice, 1/4" wide X 1/2" deep cut in my left knee...I cleaned it out, butterflied it and band-aided it (no doctor's visit here, ladies and gents), and now the leg is stiff and "pulsing".

This has NOT been one of my better days. :o

Evening everyone... or should I say morning? I had the best time at the Toby Keith/Rascal Flatts concert! It was so great...when Toby came out on stage he had the monitor behind him with his voice as a bulldog... (that is a long story) but anyways there is a picture of Ossama Bin Laden on a newspaper and he urinates on it says "Yeah...that is much better!" The crowd went wild! :)

Glad to hear that the day went well Jacki. I had a wonderful dinner Rob or else your steak would make me hungry!

Stay warm Dennis!

Ciao for now.

Happy Green Day! I have a busy one as the thoughts of war possibly starting is on everyone's minds. Still not sure if and when it all happens, but the biggest stories seem to happen when I'm not anywhere near a news source..lol We'll see.

I am waiting for news to go pick my car up and go to my appointments. Despite what goes on in the rest of the world, life goes on here and a war wont impact it at all. Lets see what happens!

War Schmar! Happy P Day all, forgive me if I am not in such a happy mood. I watch the news last night, and it says cloudy and dreary here, and what is it? Perfectly sunny! I am exhausted from working mucho overtime and here we go again this week, one day off! To add insult to injury, today is my one year anniversary with my boyfriend, and he is 1000 miles away, how fun is that? So I highly doubt I will find time to think about war today! I hope EVERYONE has a better day than I will have!

Morning everyone! Hope you have a great day. I am off for a walk in the park before tracking storms later in the day. Looks like war soon!

And... I am predicting an upset in the Women's NCAA Tourney... #15 seed SW Missouri State will upset #2 Texas Tech in the first round. Woo hoo... I smell Cinderella!

Have a great day!

Ciao! :multi:

Howdy!

Well, another sawbones appt, MORE DRUGS :o Promethazine, to inhance the percocet, talk about a BUZZ 8)

Looks like we ever so close to war, to say it's NOT going to effect us is JUST the attitude the terrorist want from us, they EXPECT us to think we are safe and sound as always, I'm afraid this will NOT be the case, I've got that gut feeling (I've very, very seldom been wrong about these gut feelings, I hope to heck I am THIS time) that we are going to see some heavy duty terrorist activites as soon as the bombs drop, I mean come on, there are over 1000 miles of UNPROTECED boarder along the Az, Calif, Texas and Mexico line.....if over 2000 illegal immigrants enter into the us every single day, how COULD they NOT enter, this is a bigger problem than we know, Sen John McCain said that last week!

ANYWAYS, let's hope and pray that this does not escalate into a world war with terrorist!

I'll be back, more news watching to do on CNN and FOX

Hey, are ya'll pregnant or something? I saw more posts this weekend about craving food than at a lamaze class full of ravenous women! That's a bad scene right there. :o

Speaking of food- Dennis, let me fix you up a big pot of Spotted Owl Fricasee.

I pray for pain relief and healing for the snowman, streetsoldier, and all others on the board who are struggling with health issues.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Afternoon everyone. While all the hype for war continues, we will truly not know until the 1st bombs are dropped in the deserts. Everyone is in a tizzy over rumors and speculation based on assumptions and accusations. I just wished we'd take a step back and breathe a moment before jumping to conclusions.

With that said I have had a feeling all day that we still have alot to work out and not rush into this. I've been there and in the exact same situation as it is today, and my vibes tell me no war and perhaps weeks and months of talks to settle this and have peace across all the borders. I hope I'm right for our military's sake. I'll get off my psychic soapbox now and just state that I'm making an opinion here...thats all.

I sta up at the dealer for 2.5 hours waiting for the car to get finished when the mechanic said the wrong part was in the right box....so I have to wait another day for the part to travel from Philly. So much for cruising in this mild weather!

The temp is now at 54 and this is the warmest its been here all year. Trust me it feels warmer and other places south and with no snowpack left are alot warmer....into the 70 degree range. Sunny blue skies too!

I also got a call from the eye doctor and on the 28th of this month, Friday, I will have my eye lasered. It takes 10 minutes to get drops in to numb the eye and 1-2 minutes total to repair the eye with the laser. Cost will be $500. Well worth it for my case.

Time to watch TV and monitor the talks and see whats developing in the world. God Bless America.

"HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY, WEATHERBUDDIES!!" :D :)

My prayers and thoughts go with all of our wonderful servicemen and servicewomen, too, as war looms closer and they will be defending our freedom!

Rob, I realize I too need to just sit back now and relax and watch President Bush's address tonight and stop guesstimating things for the future of war...or possibly no war if can be avoided? We'll just have to all wait and see. You have a lot of great wisdom Bro and I truly admire you for that! :)

For supper tonight Eric orders some virtual fast food (cheeseburgers and...) "Freedom" fries and milkshakes! lol  for he, Rob and Michelle! I'm just messin' with you Wxbuddy!

Hello EveryWxone! :D Have a Great Evening/Night and Terrific Tuesday! :)

Eric

Thanks for the kind words Eric. I'm just trying to implement that we are NOT at war yet and we need to get off the gas pedal on the issue until we TRULY know what the deal is. Lets not get our servicemembers needlessly killed.
