Mother nature was undecisive today...it started as snow, then changed to rain then back to snow and so forth! Its been like this ALL day! Now is a mixture of snow and rain.

Our Wisconsin Badgers lost today in the NCAA's to Kentucky. 63-57. Marquette is playing right now and its been an interesting game. Currently Halftime in Minneapolis for the game. Tied 34-34. C'mon Golden Eagles! (Minneapolis is practically a home game for us)

Woo hoo! It definitely seems to be March Madness in your neighborhood. Most of the teams around here I either dislike or are out of the tourney.

I am off to dreamland shortly as well. Looks like there will be little if any severe weather here tonight and I have to get up early in the morning so I can trek to college in the rain and road construction.

Everyone have a great rest of the night and a fun Friday!

The last word...

#127 Postby azskyman » Thu Mar 27, 2003 11:28 pm

Sorry Shannon about your Phoenix and your Badgers this past week. But you gave it a really nice run this year! So I guess from here you begin pulling for the Brewers!

Only thing worse than that is me pulling for the Cubs! Went to a spring training game yesterday in Mesa and one poor fella in a wheelchair had a t-shirt on that said, "I can't die til the Cubs win the series!" At least he had a lot of people take their picture with him...but I wouldn't count on his prophecy coming true!

And, well, it looks like a little chance for some tough weather in the Midwest tomorrow, mostly east and south of Illinois. Cold winds a blowin' after the cold front for you Jacki.

My son, his wife, and our grandbaby Emma will be in Chicago til Sunday then fly back home to San Diego. I suspect they will want to "get outta Dodge" after all the cold winds until then.

As a weather observer in the Midwest for dozens of years, I remember plenty of good storms in your neck of the woods. Best chance for storms north of the Illinois River (and from about the Quad Cities on northward) cranks up in about two weeks and continues into mid June. So hang on to your hats and keep your camera's nearby! There are a couple of crazy observers in Moline, Neal Bartlett and Steve Aiken, who have been watching the weather there for a long time. They've been able to see some pretty good storms over the years!

Well...best call it a day here in the desert. Breezy today and cooler. Dryline should spur some storms well to the east tomorrow.

Enjoy your friday everyone.

Marquette is being Marquette! Oh my...this had turned into the Dwyane Wade Show! It may not be Milwaukee, but Minneapolis sure looks like it!

Congrats Ticka! :D

Skyman...Rout for the Brewers? I'm not really a Baseball fan, but if I had to rout it would be for the Cubbies!

Marquette is moving on to the Elite 8!!! :D :D They beat Pitt! Go Golden Eagles and Coach Crean :D :D

Jacki...

You being out too late is going to catch up with you! ;)

It is raining here, it has been since 2:30 a.m. according to the local tv weatherman.

It is cold outside, 41º, and I want to know where Spring has gone. :)

I will be off to college shortly. Have a great day everyone.

Hello again!

The temperatures were getting cooler last night. The current temp. is 45*F with cloudy skies. Like I said earlier, the lows here are gonna be in the 30s over the weekend! Some frost may occur Sunday.

Yesterday was my luckiest day, afterschool, I got up on Yahoo! Chat to talk to some of my friends online, and unexpectedly, I got to talk to one of the young celebrities in United Kingdom! His name is Daniel Radcliffe (From Harry Potter and 2 other films). Later on, some kids told me that the Dallas Sidekicks Soccer Team is signing autographs at the Budget Suites leasing office, so I got a couple of autographs.

pojo - WOW, you're not kidding when you said "Crappy weather"! Stay safe!

Have a great TGIF!

Good Morning everyone!

It looks like spring will be disappearing for at least the weekend. Our temperatures will be like 20° below normal and a chance for record-breaking low temps Sunday and Monday mornings. mid-30's!

In comparison, today is my birthday and I have spent quite a few birthdays at the beach!!! Winter is usually just a faint memory by now!! lol

We may get some rain today but so far, nothing. Pojo...looks like all the weather is up there. :o

Jacki...I've lived many days on little sleep...it does eventually catch up with you, unfortunately I never think ahead when I'm staying up so late!

Well, I just wanted to stop off on the front porch for a few minutes and say Good Morning!!

See ya'll later.

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!!!
