Help me out here...I think I can tell the Demoncats from Fatcats on my right side of the aisle, but is there anyone running as an Independent or on the Socialist ticket?

And who among you would like to replace Illinoisian Dennis Hastert as the Streaker of the House?

Mr. Jennings obviously doesn't know the difference between a Nordic accent and a German one; I speak both Norsk and Deutsch, and an apology is strongly requested...especially regarding that snipe comparing me to an SS offizier. Very bad taste, that.

BTW, my comments were in "Norwinglish"...as anyone from the Great White North (ND, MN, WI, etc.), or has ever been there can testify.

A retraction may appear on page 23 of the Classified section in 2-point font. Remember, the press is never wrong except when we are, and we admit it only in the most low-profile way. If we all spoke the perfect "Kings English" like the press always does, then we would not have these misunderstandings. This reporter ain't no dummy and eyes nose what eyes meaning.

LOL! If this thread keeps going until November, it will definitely become the single greatest topic of all time at any message board. 8-)

BTW - I have it on good authority that rainstorm's poll was actually based upon pictures in the member gallery with the question "Who is the hottest?"

Thanks, Jara, for changing my "accent" status to that of a "Biermeister"! As to the weather today..."Yoo tink it's bat now, yoost vait til Feb-yoo-airy, by golly!" Pure "Fargo" Norwinglish...

Besides, another, genuine "Biermeister" recently became Governor of California, ja? This was a man who came here from Austria with nothing, biult a real-estate empire from his movie earnings...yet, "Cruz" Bustamante, a third-generation American called "Mike" all his life, played the "Raza" card as if HE were the "immigrant" and Ah-nold the "Establishment" candidate.

Just a side note to what appears to be a VERY interesting campaign!

I know...and as Jara pointed out... it is the same day. Although I disagree about the landslide. ;)

Another position for me...

After looking at the Martian landscape...I plan on cutting out the cost of having a live web-cam installed that will feed back moving images from a particular location for the next twenty years.

Seems we will be looking at the same rocks in the same place both day and night. A still camera is a few million dollars cheaper...and will capture the same excitement!

Until, of course, a martian comes up and gives us a smile.
