I don't think that he would be in a better position had he used the immunity idol. In this game you're only as good as your last performance. I would have used it up on someone who would have been voted off. It's a TRIBE thing.

Thatr's what I meant. he shoul dhave given it to Nick when he got voted off. Then Terry woul donly have had to swing Bruce to his side to gain a majority. He didn't try to form a majority until it was too late.

So long Shane! Nice though that he got to see and be with his son. :) Then he got sent packing and went to Boston...no not where the Tea Party was. lol :)

Could do without Terry's "holier than thou" attitude...doesn't matter whether the heck you're married OR single...Loved ones ARE loved ones!!

Was funny seeing Cirie's husband HB's reactions there at camp!

Sounds like Terry's wife Trisha is as much a strategist as her EGO husband is! :P

I think Terry has it won now. He's already got Austin/Sally and he will most likely have Courtney and Shane's vote too.

I wouldn't say Terry has won...that's like putting the cart before the horse. Can't predict what the jury will do...could be a sudden change of mind(s)...oh the suspense!

Well Shane/Courtney certainly won't be voting for either Aras or Cirie over Terry. He's guaranteed Austin and Sally's vote already.

I see this as being very not suspenseful unless something drastic and unexpected happens. I want Terry to win BTW. He has a right to be cocky after the merge when the Casayas told him he had no chance of sticking around under their "plans". He got to the Final 4 with no alliances and has dominated every challenge. 5 immunites in a row(and likely 7 in total) is not an easy feat.

I beg to differ...a person can get where he/she is without a cocky crap attitude.

I'm pulling for Cirie! :D

I still hope Terry wins. He's played the game the best so far. I could do without his cockiness at times too but he's really all alone and has been for a while. Who else is going to say - good going Terry? No one! I didn't care for how he explained his reasoning to Aras either. He went too far with his explanation but I could understand it. First he had to choose his wife. Otherwise when he got home he'd be in the dog house. And she'd never let him forget it. While it would have been very generous to take the least reward, you have to choose your own loved one. And when #2 was up, I was already crying, like Shane. He was on his knees and I was crying. My family was making fun of me. But there was a kid involved, how could Terry disappoint Boston? I was so glad he said Shane's name second. Then Cirie, she deserved an overnight with her husband. From there it was either Aras or Danielle. I wish Terry had just said he wished everyone could have an overnight with their family member. And then been humble. But he's not quite as humble as my former fave, Tom!

Shane was shocked and it seemed like Terry was as well. 2 clueless guys at Tribal tonight. I've GOT to record tomorrow's news show with Shane's interview. It will be a riot. At least he'll be dressed!

For some odd reason I didn't particularly care for Terry's wife. She wants him back to his old buff self. And I'm thinking - lady have you not opened your eyes? LOL

Yes, that's what I liked about Tom as he was humble and modest. :)

********

Even Dan in this series was kinda like Tom. :)

One of the fastest turn-OFFs in life is someone who acts cocky and/or snooty.

Eric - I hear ya and when Terry gets cocky once again, I do cringe.

Did you catch Courtney sticking out her tongue, a direct dig at Danielle? I bet Danielle thinks Courtney thinks they're still friends! Sure they are.....both Courtney AND Shane will be holding grudges on the jury next week....

Does anyone know if there's a regular 1 hour episode next week? And if so, does the finale and reunion air on Sunday, May 14th then? I was trying to pull up the listings schedule on TV Guide but it wouldn't load for a week ahead.

Thanks.

Wonder where the next Survivor will be? And what new twist they'll come up with? This time, Exile Island. Before that they brought back Bobby Jon and Stephenie.

Wouldn't it be a riot if they brought back Courtney and Shane? LOL Just kidding, just kidding....

I never said they couldn't. Please read the post again. I said he had every right to be after the way they treated him when they merged. All they cared about then was getting rid of him because he was from the other tribe. I hate that and I'm glad he's come this far. It's truly amazing. Cirie has slid under the radar and I hate people who do that, though here lately she's been putting herself out there. Her days are numbered. Unless she wins the Final 2 immunuity(which she won't) she won't be in the Final 2 because no one wants to face her.

I like Terry because he has overcame the odds and survived all these tribal councils. He dominates the challenges. Some people don't like that, but I do.

Yes... I HATE Sunday finales! :grr: Making me choose between Survivor and DH. :P (The latter will be recorded and watched immediately after, but I'll probably wind up watching a lot of it live).

I had to laugh at the critic's comments, Shane's son is ~normal~.....my thoughts exactly last night! Despite Shane's lunatic rantings, using a pretend Blackberry to crying all the time, he does seem like a really good dad.

Survivor

May 4, 2006: Casaya Continues to Eat Itself
Shane sure was thrilled to have crazy Courtney gone, wasn't he? Loved him calling her "loopy broad." Pot, meet kettle. He was placated much too easily by the others and once again walked directly into their trap. It was good to see Aras, Cirie and Danielle all scheming and playing the game, but nobody can handle themselves in this game as well as Terry. The man is unstoppable; except it's highly unlikely he'll win. I know it's completely in vain, but I still hold out hope that some of the Casaya members might flip (especially a bitter Courtney and Shane) and Terry could prevail. Nah, who am I kidding, he doesn't stand a chance. I'd also love Cirie to win it all, but I don't think anyone will take her to the final two, so sadly I see her going out around the final three. We can at least go online and vote for her to win the new truck. The reward challenge was great, with Terry able to "play God" and making both Aras and Danielle resent him. But they would have sent Terry off to Exile Island if given the chance. I was amazed at how normal Shane's son was, but I guess the only way to rebel against a father like Shane is to act completely mature and sane. Boston does seem like a really good kid, so despite his crazy Survivor antics it seems like Shane is a competent dad. Danielle's mom only looked a few years older than her daughter and not only does Terry win everything, he's also the only one in Panama to get a conjugal visit. I understood Aras' frustration about Terry's choices, but dude, a wife and a mom are not the same thing, and if you think they are then you better call Dr. Freud. Cirie's husband H.B. was hysterical and it made me like Cirie even more to see them together. It took true devotion on his part to do all her bidding around camp, but the pride in his eyes was very touching. Shane was a complete putz at the Immunity Challenge but I guess I'm about as mature as he is because I snickered every time Probst announced Aras or Terry's "flags were rising." But Shane took things too far by telling Terry to shut up and then mimicking Jeff. After the last Tribal Council Shane should have been more vigilant, but he simply strutted around camp with his belly sticking out (how does that happen with no food around anyway?) Courtney's death glare as the jury entered was very telling, she has clearly not forgiven Danielle's deception. And speaking of expressions, Shane should never play poker because shock was written all over his face as he was ousted from the game. But his final words to his son did the one thing I thought would be impossible during this season – they made me actually like him.

Wow, I think Terry might have a chance to win it. The "cocky" Casayas tribe has turned on itself giving Terry another jury vote on a weekly basis. They counted their chickens before they hatched and ended up laying a big egg. lol Terry has been the outcast for so very long. The Casayas have been rude and nasty to him. I think he's acted pretty well under the circumstances. I'm sure the cameras have been on him all the time and they have taken every gesture that he has made and put their own little "spin" on it. I like him and certainly think he deserves to win.

Last night was good. And I am surprised Shane went so quietly. I think Terry has a chance for sure to be sitting in the final 2. I used to really like the guy, now to be quit honest I am tierd of watching him win everything. There will be a challenge he will fail at......I think. I thought this balance one Danielle would win, woman are usually better at the balance challenges, but he pulled through yet again. I want to see Cirie in the final 2 but don't know if she can make it, I hope she can pull it off with Aras maybe. Who knows the game changes every second with the final 4. Next episode should be good.

The final three immunity challenge is usually a balancing/endurance test . Given that he is a yoga instructor, I think Aras could win it. If so, I cannot imagine that he would take Terry to the final two. So it is possible that Terry will win every immunity challenge (or perhaps use the hidden immunity idol in the next episode, if necessary) except the big one: the one that will get him to the final two.

That makes me sad because even though I do not care for Terry, I absolutely cannot tolerate Aras.
