I think S2K just needs a award for most improved weather site on the net.

More or less i think everyone has contributed in one way or another to help make s2k what it is. Yeah i know some have done more then others but the main thing is i think the site as a whole should be considered and that way it insures that nobody is left out. Which IMO nobody shouldnt be.

Alot of people have done alot this past year to help make S2K what it is now. And thats a great site. :) So i nominate the site as a whole!

Informative poster of the year
Uplifting poster of the year
The S2K Class Clown
Forecaster of the year
Best one liner of the year

oh so many possibilities...

Well... I always find GalvestonDuck's posts very informative.

Miss Mary or Steve (azskyman) have to be the most uplifting posters.

There are a lot of class clowns, but I would have to nominate Lindaloo, because she first brought us that one emoticon. :A:

Forecaster of the year needs to be broken down...
tropics - mwatkins or wxman57
winter - wxguy25 or donsutherland or stormsfury
severe wx - I really enjoy Wxbuffjim's reports

One liner of the year... it has to be one of the comments from Bill (streetsoldier)... probably "Bare and Falanced"... Jane Skinner, etc. ;)

I would have to give the One liner title to Coriolis..

Peace Maker.. That would go to our very own Mary Poppins :-)

azskyman wrote:Good morning all! Miss Mary tipped me off to the recognition, and I humbly appreciate being considered "uplifting." I say only that I never get tired of watching people grow in their passion for weather and encouraging them in their daily lives along the way.

I'll do some thinking and come up with a nomination or two of my own.

How about this one for starters....

Member most likely to bring a smile to your face through her posts and responses....Bronwyn! Thanks for being you.

Member with the best end-of-the-year news....Jacki! Congrats and best wishes in 2005! We're pullin' for ya!

Steve that means so much to me, especially coming from you *I got a little tear in my eye*

For sure Steve gets the nod from me for being the most uplifting poster.

Sleuth of the year has to be Duck... I mean she is the queen of digging up the truth!

Best weather forecaster in general to me has to be wxguy25

Best chauvenist.... has to be MF!!!!!!! (in the funny way that is)

Chad you take the cake as the class clown

Bill gets the wit award.

Oh my gosh you guys...I leave home for one Orthodontist appt. and I'm mentioned a few times. Very humbled actually.....and Mary Poppins is a new one on me Chad. Thanx all! :-)

Class clowns......LOVE that title. And I can think of many, who would sit in the back of class, smirking, carrying on, throwing spitballs, passing notes....Chad, j, Lindaloo, Bill - you're ALL up there. Or back there....he he. Picturing a Breakfast Club movie scene right this minute!

Shawn - perfect detective. Bonnie is quite good too - maybe they can share the title?

Best Margarita Maker - Annette/breeze!!!

Best Tea Brewer (!!) - Karan/pburgh!!!

Keep 'em coming....great thread. We needed this to wrap up 2004.

Mary
