Little by little facts are being found that make the bible not true. Just recently they found pottery where the jews held camp, and according to the bible all jews fled this area because of the romans, but they found pottery and the like to suggest no jew fled this area.

What are you saying here crazy? The bible is just made up? Are you saying that the things that happened to our Lord are just made up?

Look, the miracles that Jesus performed can be assumed to be done as miracles, but there is evidence that many of the miracles he performed were not miracles at all. I am attending a Christian School (Business Program), that I agree with and disagree with. I just look at the bible with a different text than than you do.

So what exactly is the evidence that many of His miracles He performed were not miracles at all?

I see you haven't addressed Aaron's post crazy

Let me ask you this. If it is as you say - the Bible cannot be proven (which b/t/w I do not believe, I believe 200% in the Words written in the Holy Bible) - anymore than Evolution can be proven, then what are you so afraid of? WHY NOT offer it as an elective? What's the problem?

It will be interesting to see how this works out. Personally, I don't have a problem with it at all as long as they don't make the class a requirement to graduate.

Evolution has been proven time and time again. It's the mechanisms of evolution that are theorized.

Because evolution is a scientific fact and forcing kids to learn religious dogma is forbidden by the 1st amendment.

As I said above, I'm okay with religious tsudy in publci schools a slong as it is not a requirement for graduation.

Okay, what post is that? I am not afraid of anything. I don't want federal money used in public institutions. The bible should be taught in bible school not public schools.

I am Atheist and I have never tried to change anyone beliefs...But your god and your beliefs should be in your house and your churches...I believe religion is needed for some people to have a since of hope in the world. When you say "God created man. There is nothing you are going to say or do that will change that". It is good you stand for something, but I would also say he didn't and I know for sure there will be nothing to change that...

That's fine - but if evolution can be taught in school then why can't the Word of the Bible?

Because the former is science, the latter is religion.

So it's okay to teach that the world "evolved" but not that it was "created"?
