Yeah for his family...But for the thousands of family's he wrecked they would have perferred him in prison..

Let's have a little compassion here for his family, regardless of what the man did, good gosh. I've seen nicer posts when a family pet dies. And a word of warning...i'll lock this thread quicker than a fly landing on honey if it gets anywhere near political.

This is not getting political...I just sat back and thought of what this guy has done..I just have no remorse for him..Sorry if I just have more compassion for his victims.

What about the good he had done in his life also?

His bad overcome whatever good he accomplished. He ruined many lives with his greed.

It's not karma, there's no such thing. He was an old man. If he had a heart attack it was probbaly brought on naturally by the stress of his fraud trial.

I also don't rule out suicide, but we'll probably never know.

64 isn't considered old by today's standards.

True but it's also not unusual for a 64 year old to die of a heart attack.

No matter what the man did, his family is still suffering for their loss. No-one suggested that we have a moment of silence for his passing, just a bit of compassion for those the greedy scumbag left behind. Only he is responsible for his actions not his family. I imagine things ahev been extremely tough for them and we will never know the whole story.

His family lived on the largesse from his crimes. I have no sympathy for them.

They are ONLY guilty if they knew of his crimes which from what I have gathered.......they did not. Are YOU responsible for other people's crimes JUST because you know them or are related to them??

Everyone knew of his crimes.

His wife went so far as to defend them after he was found out.

No one owes any sympathy to people who lived happily on the wealth stolen from millions of others.

I don't think anyone will argue his guilt, least of all me. But now he is in a place where he will have no choice but to answer for all of his sins.

I don't know what his widow will get, last I heard he was next to bankruptcy. He could have, however, moved much of his assets to his wife BEFORE things went down (I actually witnessed people doing this when the Enron scandal broke).

Sure, but that helps to relieve me of any sympathy for them.

What does this have to do about anything??

The guy stole millions of dollars from the company costing jobs of 10k people. I think if people were to show up at his funeral they will likely make sure that hes dead.

Sorry if i sound harrsh, but people worked at that company for over 20 years they got nothing for those 20 years thanks for this guy.

I don't care how bad the person is or was, the family still will receive my thoughts and prayers. Not all families are perfect. He has other family members besides his wife. I pray that they will find some kind of peace. Peace is even harder to obtain when you know the person has done great harm to others. I am not the Judge. He is being judged by the real guy right now.

ditto

I pray for his family but good riddens to him, not just for the thousands of lives he ruined but the turmoil he put his family through. What a thug.

But as I say. I pray for his family, they've been through enough already. Hopefully the media leaves them alone.... hopefully.
